Gits Khaman Dhokla 180G
Dhokla is a savoury sponge dish that is native to the Indian state of Gujarat and parts of adjacent states and is popular throughout the country. It is made with a fermented batter that is steamed to a cake-like consistency. The main ingredient and base of this recipe are besan. Sooji and semolina were added for texture. Sugar, ginger and green chillies, eno (fruit salt), citric acid, oil, and other spices. The ingredients of a dhokla are super rich in proteins. The besan base, too, in fermented form, works on increasing the bioavailability of nutrients like riboflavin, niacin, folic acid, thiamine, Vitamin K, and biotin.
