TRS Alubia Beans
Alubia beans are also called white kidney beans, white pea beans, and boston beans. They are a rich source of proteins, digestive fibres, iron, potassium, calcium, vitamin B6, vitamin C, and magnesium. A popular bean in India, the Middle East, Argentina, and parts of North America, alubia beans are used for making curries, vegetable dishes, and meat and pork stews. They take a long time to cook and break down like the rest of the white beans, but they are distinguished by their slightly flat appearance, a shape they retain even after being fully cooked. Generally, alubia beans are soaked in water overnight and then vigorously boiled before being incorporated into any dish. They are great for the heart and liver, and they maintain blood glucose levels while also aiding in weight loss.
Allergy advice: Made in a factory that handles peanuts and other nuts, sesame seeds, cereals containing gluten, milk, celery, soya, mustard, and sulfites.
